Graham began his football career with Home Farm before moving on to Middlesbrough. While there he had a loan spell with Darlington before joining Stoke City in October 96 and then moving on to Cardiff City. An Irish Under-21 and B player, he won his first full cap against the Czech Republic in March 98. Further caps followed against Sweden and Northern Ireland, the latter in May 99 but after that he did not play again until last November when he lined-out against Canada in November 2003 and since then he has been a regular in the squad. Last season he was signed by Wigan Athletic and helped them gain promotion to the Premiership.
