Tried to retire but FOF kept tempting her back: "I told the club that I'd only play if they were desperate and they've picked me ever since". They represented Ireland alongside the cream of English talent Wiseman, Sempare, Spacey etc. Played for FOF in their 2-0 1985 WFA Cup final win over Doncaster Belles at Craven Cottage, scored killer second goal "a sumptuous chip". It was known as the Sempare final after Brenda Sempare gave Donny the runaround. Unused sub in the 1990 FA Cup final, as Doncaster Belles beat FOF 1-0 at the Baseball Ground, Derby. Not in the Wimbledon LFC player lists 91/92 (FOF became Wimbledon to join the 1st National League in 1991). Not in match day squad for 1987 FA Cup semi defeat by St Helens (injured?) but was in the team photo in the programme.
